Baronang (Siganus Sp.) Is a group of marine fish that belong to the Siginidae family. This fish is known by the people with different names from each other according to its species, such as the Thousand Islands called kea-kea, in Central Java under the name biawas and fishermen on Maluku Island named as samadar. Baronang is found in shallow waters of the lagoon in the Indo-Pacific region and east of the Mediterranean Sea. This fish in English is called rabbitfish because of its eating behavior that eats vegetation (seaweed) neatly like a small grass machine trimmed. Baronang is one of the fish that is a favorite for anglers at sea.
